eResource Book

The Murray-Darling Basin’s electronic Resources Book is the statistically updated, web based version of the original and popular 1997 Basin Resources Book.

For environmental, economic and currency reasons, the publication is now available as a web published version.  A system is now in place that will enable the statistical information to be updated as it becomes available.

The new electronic format has other advantages including the ability for the reader to view various levels of information simultaneously and to view and print a range of information including maps and other illustrative material.

This will allow readers to only read and print what they require at any given time, reducing paper and other printing costs that can be expensive and time-consuming.

The first five chapters are now available for public viewing whilst the remaining chapters are currently under production.  The new electronic version will provide extra sections that cover more recent issues and a broader range of data.
