Welcome to the electronic version of the Murray-Darling Basin Commission (MDBC) Annual Report 2005–2006.

This report is to the Parliaments of the Australian Government, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland; the Legislative Assembly of the Australian Capital Territory; and the Australian Community.

It describes the objectives and significant achievements of the MDBC during the 2005–06 financial year, and is tabled before the parliaments of each jurisdiction through the Murray-Darling Basin Ministerial Council (Ministerial Council).
